The couple purchased an old house and wanted to live a healthy, traditional life that would connect them with their family, friends, and the local community. The dining room, kitchen, and hallway, which had been renovated with wooden panels, were returned to the dirt floor, creating a place where friends could relax around the stove. To create a contrast between the old and the new, a wooden wall was installed in the dirt floor at the entrance. Fragments of various aspects of life, from use in English tutoring to graffiti, were cut out and drawn on the wooden wall. They did everything they could, including dismantling, painting, and cutting down trees.
