A convenient home was desired in an urban area close to schools and libraries. The home of a young family, whose main focus will be childcare for a while, is designed with an open ceiling that allows the presence of the family to be felt. The rooms are designed to be lit from the south, with a wooden deck and deep eaves, creating a comfortable indoor environment depending on the solar altitude in summer and winter. The interior, with three rows of ascending beams, is designed with minimal details, with solid walls that show the regularity of the structure. The living room is indirectly lit so that you can spend your time peacefully.
A bath court is provided for daily relaxation. A small bath terrace is attached so that you can enjoy your own time in the moonlight, gazing at the small garden from the bathtub.
The neighboring houses were close to each other, but instead of a fence, medium-sized and tall trees were placed to reduce the crossing of eyes with the neighboring houses. We hope that the green ice top will create a good relationship between the two houses. Flowering trees such as mountain ash, blue ash, and white camellia create a garden that conveys the seasons throughout the year.
