This Edo-period farmhouse has been renovated since 2002, with the help of self-build and architectural workshops.
The area, which had become poorly ventilated and well-lit due to repeated extensions, has been renovated into a bright one-room apartment. Slow-paced facilities such as a pizza oven, a hearth, a Goemon bath, and a well have been installed one by one so that you can enjoy the nature of the Satoyama at your leisure. If you ignore the accuracy of the construction, the self-build is a blissful experience!
