A spacious one-room space where yoga classes and cafes can be held, and a dirt-floored kitchen for spending lively time with friends. A hearth, a wood stove, a Goemon bath…Even though they are in the prime of their child-rearing years, they wanted a place where they could fully enjoy country living even in their busy lives.
To the east, there is a majestic view of the rural landscape and the distant mountain ranges, and the house was planned to incorporate this view. A large opening is provided under the deep eaves, and the connection between the changing seasons of the Satoyama and life is the framework of the house.
The one-room apartment with an open ceiling is surrounded by small rooms, and we hope that by changing the way it opens and the height of the line of sight, various uses will be tried.
Human activities seem even more fleeting in the eternal nature and history, but we hope that by connecting the memories of the land, it will become a modern private home.
