Comment
The Orange Workshop is a multi-functional business center for people with disabilities.
This welfare facility has two functions: day care and a kitchen. Zoning and traffic flow planning have created a light court in the center of the building, allowing natural light to reach the entire building. The light court is located in front of the entrance, and the approach is as if the light is inviting. The deep eaves created by the warm-sloped roof are used as a bicycle parking area and terrace.
The light court and corridor not only provide natural lighting, but also mutual visibility, a sense of spaciousness, and a sense of openness with no dead ends, expanding the possibilities of architecture.
