In this house, the owner took advantage of his many years of experience in welfare work to set up a manju shop as a place to support the city and people while being involved in a practical way. In addition to counter seats, the small shop has a row of small table seats that serve as a place to stay.
In the past, Ota City has been in demand for traditional homes with solid walls and antique lacquer, and this time was no different. The origin of life is in a private house with earthen walls, and you can feel the calm lifestyle culture that is passed down to the next generation.
The home is a comfortable, compact space, with a tiled roof, burnt cedar boards, and plaster-painted solid walls to match the streetscape. The open hanging staircase has the effect of making the space look larger, but it also makes effective use of the space under the stairs. This time, the choice was made because it was easy to clean the area under the stairs, which serves as a cat litter box.
I hope that a fun place for interaction will spread from a corner of a shopping street with a row of vacant stores.
